Muslim clerics endorse anti-terror fatwa – UPI.com
HYDERABAD, India, Nov. 8 (UPI) — About 6,000 Muslim clerics from around India approved a fatwa against terrorism Saturday at a conference in Hyderabad.
Well I often bitch about how the moderates remain silent on their more fundamentalist bretheren. Well FINALLY a few of them got together and FINALLY said something, FINALLY spoke up. So this is a good thing, Islam is moving in on the evil of killing people. Right? Well they issued a Fatwa that and I quote:
“Our concern is that innocents should not be targeted and the career of educated youth not ruined.”
To which I ask and pardon my cynicism about religion but how does the Q’ran and Islam actually define innocents? I want to know. Because really after hearing of definitions about infidels being less than human and comparing jews to pigs and then being told I can’t really understand what that means because I don’t speak arabic, I want a good and proper definition. Yeah I’m hard to please that way. The Americans can’t agree on what a real American is, so I wonder how Islam defines an innocent when everything supposedly gets lost in translation.
The Fatwa goes on to say:
“Islam rejects all kinds of unjust violence, breach of peace, bloodshed, murder and plunder and does not allow it in any form. Cooperation should be done for the cause of good but not for committing sin or oppression,”
Again I ask you to define UNJUST VIOLENCE. I mean, Islam is the religion of peace right? But judging from what we’ve witnessed like planes being hurled into buildings and subway stations being ripped to shreds in Spain; Maulana Qari Mohammad Usman Mansoorpuri, president of the Jamaiat-Ulama-i-Hind blames the Gotcha Media for their bad rap.
So what defines unjust violence? Does this mean no more stoning of women for dishonoring their families for getting raped by idiot men brought up in a sexually retarded culture? Because that’s a fucking SIN.
So please define all these things for us or just me.

Good for them. Although I have to agree that I do not understand what unjust violence is either.

Violence rules the world, just like power and money… And well, none of those is used in a positive way anyway, for all the man that have them…
