Here’s something that was completely unexpected with my work at the Cirque du Soleil. I have to get certified in loader driving. SAY WHAT? But I’m just a computer nerd! That excuse didn’t float. Well it suits me, one more toy for the geek. I just hope I don’t run into anything or anyone. I hope I get to ride the bobcats and here’s why:
But what I REALLY would love to get my hands on is the ZoomBoom because, well because it’s FUCKING HUGE.

Weeeeeeeeeeeee Imagine the Rampage
But that’s not gonna happen, but I can dream.

i hope you get to drive the zoom boom. i wish i wish i wish…
you have to help carry your gear around!
Wow! Can I have a ride in that huge monster?
I’ve caused some destruction with a forklift in my time. Most forklifts engage the brake when there’s no pressure on the seat but the one I drove didn’t have this neat safety feature. We would drive through the aisles and just before emerging onto the warehouse floor, we’d jump out, grab the side and slide along, ducking so no one could see. It looked like an unmanned forklift was barreling through. Nice trick to play on new employees.
Either that or when someone asked to borrow it, you just hop out while it was moving and make them try to catch it.
Hey, I never actually killed/maimed anyone.
Drove the Forklift today…. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
When you said loader the first thing that came to mind was YEAAAAH kill the Alien Mother!

But apparently the forklift will have to do! Weeeee indeed!
PS: your life is still way cool. (except for the nightly fireworks, that is … less so)
LOL
I actually thought of using that video for my post because yeah the first thing that popped into my mind when they said loader training was that very scene, well the real one, not this rehashed one.
If ONLY we could have loaders this cool.
LOL. This video was obviously made by a guy. About as far opposite to my “Baby Kittens” video as anyone can get, lol!
LOL what makes you say that?
I don’t know! Just call it a hunch, lol.
