I should be busy packing my boxes for my big move to the US but I’m taking some time off. And I was going through my sites and I ended up on my much maligned and ignored Facebook page.
What’s the point? Other than friending, poking and sending YouTube videos to my friends and overloading my page with applications? What is the goddamn purpose of Facebook? I rarely use it or update it anymore. And reading articles about how bad Facebook’s branding is getting (click here to read) I’m feeling like it’s pointless. These days I’m more into Twitter and my new crack addiction is FriendFeed which is the most evolved social networking killer app for the Web-geek I’ve ever participated in. It’s simple, it works and I don’t have to work to keep it updated; it’s fully automated – they should have called it Skynet.
I think I’m gonna shutdown my Facebook page. It’s worthless to me now, it’s nothing to me now. FriendFeed is the future.
