It was the same melody that the 4 cylons (Tyrol, Tigh, etc.) heard in the nebula.

That made me think maybe Gaeda was a Cylon!

Gaeta’s song nearly ruined the latest episode.

His character is not very good, and the actor looks like crap.

The character is well played and has always added an interesting if somewhat conflicted tone to the show.

I expect your lack of appreciation results from an ineptitude at understanding complex narratives.

OT sorta : Season 3 was bollocks…finally the writers.creators are allowed the reign for creative expression and you lambast a character for looking like “crap”

I thought his ballad was exceptionally fitting as it expressed wistful dreams…or lamentful dreams flittingly passed…the words escape me

Somewhat reminiscent of the Moulin rouge/natalie coleman there was a boy…

Not only was the music of this lament beautifuly written, but the way he sang it was amazing! Not many professional singers could have pulled that off as well. It had a very ancient, Celtic feel to it.

I absolutely loved Gaeta’s lament. I have watched this episode over and over, more than any other episode thus far; it’s definitely my current favorite.

Definately made the episode. The music in BSG is what makes me watch it. Gaeta was the main source of information to the insurgants on Caprica, and he’s an insanely good actor.

Honestly I think he’s the last member of the Final five. (But only because I wish him to have a more prominent role in the series <3)

How dare you say that, the song made the episode. It linked all the stories and helped illustrate the pain of the characters we often forget to think about.
