Pictures from Little Rock
March 15, 2008 by DAVE ID

I finally got around to processing and uploading some pictures from my trip to Little Rock Arkansas while working on Saltimbanco. I was attracted to the extreme poverty - to me anyway, American poverty, makes Canadian poverty look like the middle class though I wouldn’t compare homelessness in the cold Canadian winter with any other civilized country

Great shots. That’s definitely some rural looking poverty. Have you seen America’s inner city poverty yet? It’s hard to compare but I think it’s worse.
WoW! You’re so talented… I just LOVE your pics!!!
Bring some more, I’m addicted!!!
I live in North Little Rock, and loved your pictures. But Seriously that didn’t touch on some of the extreme proverty here in the south.
But I would like to hear your take on the city.
You do have a good eye - Robert Frank would know that flag. Here is a link to a blog I think you might like.

@JASON: Thanks and no I haven’t. But I’m sure you’re right.
@MPM: THANKS
@ Winter: Well I didn’t spend a whole lot of time there. But it had flare. I definitely wanted to visit more of it.
@Neath: thanks for the link. When I get out of this hotel bandwidth nightmare I’ll take a better look.
