Hey, it looked great until I saw the name M. Night Whachamacallit.
Suck.
Especially for an atheist like you. You know it’s gonna be about a message from god or somesuch. Bleh.
BTW, I had a better experience with Cloverfield than you did. I thought it was great. Better than I was expecting. But that’s primarily because I avoided most of the viral kool-aid and went in there with middling expectations.
Well I don’t believe in monsters but I looked forward to Cloverfield. I worship the Matrix Trilogies and those movies have a lot of messianic undertones. I don’t let my atheism get in the way of good fiction.
EDIT: But the art work with abandoned cars reminds me of Left Behind and that worries me. I hope it’s not that kind of stupid crap.
As for Cloverfield… perhaps I was sugar rushing on the Kool-Aid.
