Mea Culpa: Don’t I Look Like A Fucking Asshole!

Well it seems my big shit disturbance on censorship at WordPress was a big misunderstanding created by strange coincidences, an angry fanboy, unknown technical parameters and a blogger with an itchy middle-finger.
In my irascible and profane open letter to Tim Kring I received a threat from a commenter of having my blog blocked. I perceived this as coming from some upset fanboy at WordPress abusing his administrator privileges to censor me since my blog had been disappeared from the category and tag search results.
This is just the kind of injustice that lights a fire under my ass and puts me on the war path
I launched my first salvo at WordPress support which went unanswered and my blog became available to searches again. So I thought the issue had been nipped in the bud. But not getting an acknowledgment miffed me a little bit.
So I wrote my recalcitrant diatribe on censorship where I truculently assaulted fanboys and their insane endeavours to control the dialog on their object of idolization. Well those arguments still stand.
This blog post also was seemingly disappeared from search result. I was fuming but this being Saturday, I had to wait until Monday for support from WordPress.
Well it’s Monday…
And now I feel like a real dick
I wrote to Support and this time got some quick response and Mark from WordPress and I cleared things up. I explained how things looked from my side. Someone threatens to block me and then my posts disappear from research results. He comes back to me later with an e-mail.
It turns out there’s a limit of categories and tags I can include in a post. And WordPress users, that number is 12. If you have more than 12 tags in your post, all the tags are automatically BLOCKED. And it’s the goddamn truth because as soon as I removed some tags, POOF! My post was now available to search results.
So here it is.
Dear WordPress and Mark from Support, I apologize for this mess and wish to retract all the spiteful insinuations I may have made about WordPress and add that I feel like a fucking asshole for jumping to conclusions and I’ve cleared a brick wall in which I will now launch myself headfirst.
I still hate the fanboys, for that I am unrepentant.
